Dr. Ramanna is Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine with fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine and Positron Emission Tomography (PET). She has practiced at Providence Little Company of Mary for over 10 years. Prior to this, Dr. Ramanna was an Associate Clinical Professor at USC Keck School of Medicine, where she still holds a clinical appointment. During her time at USC, she was also the Nuclear Medicine Residency program director. Dr. Ramanna specializes in a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine modalities, including extensive experience in thyroid disorders, and novel radionuclide therapies for prostate cancer. Dr. Ramanna has been very active both in local and national Nuclear Medicine organizations, and has organized and lectured at several conferences. More recently she served on the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM), responsible for certification. She serves on the Radiation Safety and Education committees at Little Company of Mary Hospital.
In her free time, Dr. Ramanna enjoys participating in book and movie discussions, walking, concerts, and vegetarian cuisine.
